The Statistical Office of Slovenia reported positive news that the cost of completed construction works in June this year was 9.0% lower than the cost of works completed in May and 19.0% lower than the cost of works completed in June last year.
Monthly Statistics
On a monthly basis, the cost of construction works completed in June decreased by 9.0%. The cost of all types of construction across Slovenia decreased. Specifically, building construction costs fell by 11.5%, civil engineering construction by 8.6%, and the cost of specialized construction works by 5.5%.
Annual Statistics
On an annual basis, the cost of construction works completed in June was a substantial 19.0% lower. Over the course of the year, the cost of all types of work also decreased. In particular, building construction costs dropped by 24.1%, civil engineering construction by 18.2%, and specialized construction works by 17.9%.
Six-Month Statistics
The cost of construction works completed in the first six months of this year was 7.0% lower compared to the same period last year. The cost of all types of works decreased: building construction by 10.0%, civil engineering construction by 7.6%, and the cost of specialized construction works by 5.1%.
